| The BBC has a new series based on robin hood. I watched the first episode and was very impressed. Will watch the second episode tonight or tomorrow. This is definitely a show worth watching. Available on torrent networks everywhere. |

Really? You were impressed? I had a totally different feeling about it. It just felt very inauthentic in clothing, style, and manners. It felt a little overdone.
What did you like about it? If someone can convince me, I'll take a second look. |

I thought the acting was excellent, the script was great, the sets were fantastic. As for the clothing it seemed fine to me - every Robin Hood or period peice has different levels of authenticity there. Not having lived in the 1100s I'm not going to quibble about how people did or did not dress. |
