I came across these photos. Apparently she's a fairly famous girl from Hong Kong living in LA.

Funny some one used her photos on a dating service, saying she's Korean.

have any of you had any success on these things? i signed up for 1 month and wrote my profile in korean and got loads of replies; problem is im still stuck in london so most of my friends are cyber friends.

looking back though it was 16 pounds / $30 well spent. i cant remember the name of the site but all the guys wrote their profiles in english i recall being the only writing in korean and got a ton of replies.

i think i might give jadude's posted site a shot.

I've chatted with a bunch of people on ublove. With the messenger it's a good way to practice Korean, but trading emails gets boring after a while, because I get sick of talking about the same things over and over and over.

I met a few people in person through that site, so that was nice. However, one of the people was a coworker. She's alright, though.

Not sure why you're so surprised, jajdude. A certain proportion of the women on ublove.com and other dating websites are not who they say they are. It's not difficult to find some random picture of a girl and put up a free account.

And incidentally, all of the eslcafe posters who messaged itaewonho69 on ublove back in 2003/2004, she says 'hi'. Unfortunately ublove has deleted that account, but the other less ridiculous fake girl is still going strong.

The funniest thing I ever noticed was a few years ago. KoreanFriendFinder.com had a picture of a happy interracial couple on their front page. The girl was sitting in front of the guy and he was blowing bubbles.

Anyway, I randomly chanced across the original photo shoot of these two lovebirds. It turned out they were porn actors, and the KFF site had cropped out her snatcch. It was pretty dirty.
