Today I bought a LG DVD writer. I have a newbie qustion. I am using Nero software. The files I want to burn end with .avi or .mpg. Do I need to change these files or can I just burn them on to a dvd and watch on my dvd player. |

if your DVD player also plays Divx then you'll have no problem. I usually burn my downloaded TV shows to a DVD-RW watch and erase and burn new ones.
Anyhow media is so cheap (200 won per disc) just give it a shot. If it doesn't work it's no big deal. |

I wound up spending $35 for the divxtodvd software, it works great, converts and burns in about 35 min for a 60 min show
i'm sure there are cracked copies out there on bit torrent if you look |

It should have come with "cyberlink DVD power producer" as well as the nero software.
Power producer is pretty much stick in the disk and follow the menus. It takes care of the conversions for you.
Start to finish takes about 60 minutes to create a new DVD from an avi or mpg on a reasonably quick machine. |
