My Georgia Boot company boots bought 10 years ago are finally falling apart. I'm sure I could get the seaming repaired, but the leather itself is basically gone to hell.
Is there ANYWHERE I can get some decent leather boots? I'm talking about the 7-9 inch logger style boots in a women's US size 9.5. I want decent boots that will last another 10 years. I live in Seoul.
Or is this going to be another "send it to my PO Box, have Mom send it, pay her for shipping" thing? |

No, if I wanted *beep* me boots I'm sure I could find some in Seoul, even with my big feet. Of course, they'd probably be an odd color. Actually, I've seen purple and green *beep* me boots here.
I mean sh*tkicking boots or asskicking boots. Logger boots, don't care if they're steel toe or not. (Something like these: http://tinyurl.com/u5waj .)
And yeah, I was afraid eBay or MomBay might be the best thing.
Thanks. |

Geez. Those are the complete opposite of *beep* me boots.
Probably find those in the camping stores in Namdaemun or Tongdaemun. |

I know. Yet every guy I've ever dated has loved the boots for some reason. I'm not dating fetishists, they dig my *beep* me boots, too, I just wear loggers more often.
They always comment on the way I walk. With confidence. I don't get the same gait in sneakers and your feet can't pound the pavement the same way in heels.
(Heck, when I was teaching in America, my principal mentioned that my kids copied my walk in a way she'd never seen kids copy their teachers before. It was a compliment.)
I'll check out the camping stores.
And I'd like to kick my boss' ass, but that's a whole 'nother thread. |
