Quote:
Starting next year, both men and women will have to be at least 18 if they want to be legally married.

The Justice Ministry said Monday that it plans to submit a revised law on the legal marrying age at the National Assembly following deliberation among the Cabinet to enforce the law from next year.

Current laws designate 16 as the legal marrying age for women and 18 for men.

Wonder how that'll go down with the herd of ajosshis who corral and pressure teenage women into marrying asap so that they have no life and are trapped into breeding the master race.

Is that 18 Korean age or 18 actual age?

Also, at 18, a lot of them are still at high school - they tend not to leave until 19.

It'd be better if the poor things get the chance to travel and do stuff first. Most of them succomb to the fear of being called a spinster by the age of 24, and throw their life out the window.

English and Korean newspapers always use actual age, not the Asian calculation we all know and are confused by.
