I'm looking for a level placement test for elementary kids.
One which is separated into beginner, intermediate and advanced (for ages 7-13) would be perfect. It's the age-appropiate thing which is important.
Any format would do. Photocopiable. CD-ROM. Tape etc. Not too long.
Any publisher or source would be fine. My school will buy it.
Any suggestions? |

I've used two different ones.
I have a CD from Oxford which has placement tests for the Let's Go series. It doesn't matter what series you use they are all fairly similar and it will give you an idea of the kid's level. I got it free at the Kotesol conference.
Secondly, I use some sample test books from the Cambridge Young Learners Tests. They have a speaking component which makes them a bit better than the Let's Go one. Again free. Usually I do a combination of the two. |

Thanks for that.
I'm chasing up the Let's Go placement test now. |
