I'm still a computer novice and i've heard about these torrent sites where you can download all kinds of movies and tv shows.

But how do they work?

What's a good one to use?

Do you have to pay for them?

All you need is a torrent client

(i like utorrent www.utorrent.com)

~~possibly winrar if you use private trackers~~ (to unpackage the files)

i use www.isohunt.com and (to a lesser extent) www.torrentspy.com

isohunt actually searches a ton of public trackers and even gives fairly accurate readings on seeders and leachers on those outside trackers.

google bittorrent, and you should be able to find a pretty decent tutorial, as it can get a little confusing at times. good luck!
