Who would you all recommend for getting set up in Seoul? Who should I stay away from? I've heard an endorsement for "Kim & Joe," out of Busan. Has anyone here ever worked with them before?

do some research on this forum before posting...

there's been plenty of posts such as yours that have covered the topic relentlessly.

Yeah, I'm sure that's true. However the search option on this site is next to worthless, as you can't limit searches to the thread topic alone. So I get to sift through every post in which a person had typed in the word "recruiter." Most of those posts are not helpful.

If you're sick of reading threads like this, it's pretty clear from the topic what it's about, so save yourself the trouble and don't read it. If you don't want to respond, then don't respond.

Those who are helpful, despite that this topic has been "covered relentlessly" will get my undying thanks. Or a case of beer or something, if that's your thing. Wink

I've worked with Kim and Joe. The owner of the company even helped us move our stuff to our new apartment. We worked a lot, so Simpson came in on a natioanl holiday so we could sign all the paper work. They are great! We worked mainly with Simpson and Amy. I'm not sure how much tehy have in Seoul though.

That's a pretty poor use of search. Maybe you should learn how to narrow your searches first.

But in answer to your OP, I recommend you find your own job. Keep recruiters out of the equation altogether. They are lying scumbags. To them, you are nothing more than a million won commission.

worknplay, atc, footprints, and kimandjoe are big names others have deemed as reputable. but you dont need a recruiter. post your resume on daves and when you get a contract, post that too (http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=59265) to get feedback on the job offer.
