OK I now got my network running fine (d/led some software and put the ip address range of my router in my wifes firewall)
discovered another problem my network manager software detects intruders getting on my network (its wireless) from time to time
Should I be worried about this and if so what should I be doing?
thanks |

Turn on WPA / WEP Encryption
Disable SSID Broadcast (You don't need it at home) |

| Yes, actually you should use WPA, WEP is old hat so to speak and easily cracked. And also turn of the option to broadcast the SSID, while not failsafe just adds an extra measure of security. |
