Imagine how Korean visitors to the US, or Korean-Americans, must have felt watching this clip. Nothing like scrapping the bottom of the barrel for a dtupid laugh.

I've heard foreigners here who can't speak Korean much better.
This doesn't make him a moron, just not good at speaking a language he's never encountered before. |

This clip was hilarious. If Koreans would get upset about KJI being made fun of, good. He's an embarrassment to Koreans...or should be. |

Meh.
Nothing wrong with mocking the dear leader, but I will admit that Stewart(Stewart always pronounces Korean names and words with tones, for example) and Colbert("Bool-ko-gee", with ruffage and an egg?) don't have writers that really even try to get them to reflect Korea, North or South, at all accurately. And it is an ingrained form of condescension as I am sure they would do much better with Chinese and Japanese names and show much more respect.
But as to the OP's outrage...meh. |

Yeah, I thought that was funny. Especially since I've known long-time foreigners, married to Koreans, who don't pronounce Korean words much better than that. |

I thought it was common knowledge that Colbert is a complete racist towards Asians. Haven't you seen this clip that was only aired because of a technical glitch? They tried to suppress it, but the truth is out there.

Imagine how Americans, or Korean-Americans visiting Korea and hearing some of the stupidity that comes out of Korean mouths about America must feel. (I know a couple of Koreans that went on about how great it is NK has nukes so they can defend themselves against America or that if the nuke Japan it would be ok.). At least this was for cheap laughs (and it was funny) and was meant as humour, not just stupidity. Or should I say dtupidity?
Maybe you should see an orthopeditic surgeon, your funny bone seems to be broken.

Pfft, most mainstream US humour these days revolves around the ignorant stereotyping of non-Americans. Some of it is still funny, but if I hear another gag referring to British teeth and/or accents, I'll puke. |

Colbert's humour revolves more around the ignorant stereotyping of Americans, especially this clip. |

Another one of those unfair generalizations about unfair generalizations. how many times are people going to post these kinds of things before they see the irony in it? |
