|

I recently had a cyst removed from my mouth and i have to have a check up appoinyment about it which involves me travelling back to England to have an X-Ray.
However this is going to take up alot of time and money neither of which i have a lot so i was thinking about getting the X-Ray done over here and then posting it back to my doctor in the Uk.
So could anyone lend any advice on dentists in Seoul. Would i be able to get an X-Ray done easily? Could anyone recommend a good, english-speaking dentist that they have used before?
I live in Sanbon so a dentist in the south of Seoul would be best but any will do
I need to get in touch with my doctor in England ASAP so please help!
Anyway thanks for reading and all your advice |

I recently posted on here about finding a decent dentist as I was in agony last week with toothache. Someone was kind enough to recommend a dentist just up the street from me. I went last week and they took x rays as a matter of course before I saw the dentist.
The receptionist/dental assistant does not speak English but the dentist does and I am sure you could somehow arrange to just have the x-rays done. It is very cheap for x-rays here compared to back home (I too am from Manchester) and it only take five minutes for the whole procedure so you'd only have to visit once.
The dental clinic is situated in a hospital just 5 minutes walk from Daebang station - which I realise is about 40 minutes from you - but let's face it, it's a damn sight closer than England. Anyway, I have a second appointment there on Thursday so if you would like me to enquire then I would be happy to do so. If you want more specific directions just let me know.
Hope this helps. |

i had to have an x-ray cause apparently i had a massive cavity in one of my back teeth (molar??) that was not picked up by my kiwi dentist when i had a check up in feb this year...so i went to the dentist crying with the pain and that got me to the top place on the list and i saw the dentist very quickly
they took an x-ray which was different to the one i usually have back home...its like a panoramic one with a almost circular view of my teeth and my spinal cord is visible too...it was service as i didnt have my health card then but the entire visit only cost 20,000 and that was cause i had to have the oral surgeon give me pain relief like 3 times and operate!!!
but now i have to fork out 300,000 won for a gold (pimp style) crown for that cavity ridden tooth.....so i am doing it cause its much cheaper than nz and the dental care in my experience has been good (and the receptionist spoke english as did the dentist)
cheers
