I was cooking some yuk kae jang this past weekend. I took the glass lid off the pot, and decided to rinse it and stick it in the drying rack. Forgetting what I learned from my grade school science class, I put it under the (cold) faucet, and I had myself an IED- that fucker shattered into a million little pieces. Cut my hand superficially in a few places. Luckily glass didn't land in the vegetables I had cut up and were sitting on the cutting board next to the sink. I'm lucky the glass didn't hit my eyes.

A couple of days later, after I had thought I had thoroughly cleaned the glass up, I stepped on a tiny shard. I didn't pick it out right away cuz I was doing something (running late for work). By the time I got around to it, the thing had firmly embedded itself into my skin. I still haven't been able to get it out.

So what have you done lately that defies common sense? Mr. Green

Gathering more firewood in the bush when I'm already tired from the other 2 loads. Trees start to come flying back at you when you can't put 100% into tossing it on the truck bed. Ouch.

I walked into a bus the other night. I have no idea how... I checked the street for traffic, waited until (I thought) the bus had passed, and then started across. I was distracted and looking away, but not THAT distracted and not looking THAT far away, and I walked right into the side of the bus.

Walking to the pub with a group of my Uni students, stopped to buy some smokes at an outdoor vendor, started chit-chatting with the guy next to me (who I thought was one of the students I had been walking with), looked up to realize it was some other monsteriously tall guy I didn't know. Was so flabergasted I just balled out without getting the smokes.

About a half an hour before work started I ate a small package of prunes for a snack. In the next hour I topped it with several mandarins and about 5 solar-c's. Intense intestinal cramping for the next 8 hours or so. Had to bail on class twice. Embarassed
