Other documents each category of visa may require addtionally

If you had studied abroad and received your Bachelor's degree from a country OTHER THAN an accredited university from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Scotland or Great Britain- then you will NOT be able to receive your E-2 visa in Korea to teach legally.

That rule is over 4 months old at this stage. Thanks anyway for plastering it on the forums like that ...
Problems with Park English
1) They are 'partnered' with the Korean Department of Education, yet they recruit many teachers for public schools. This means that if you have a complaint against the DoE, you'll be looking for ParkEnglish to fight your corner for you. Is there a conflict of interest there ? ... I think so.
2) If you have a complaint against Park English. You'll have to take it to either the DoE or the Department of Education. Again, conflict of interest.
3) They say that they carefully prescreen their schools. When in actual fact they just spam Dave's job boards offering teachers to anyone with cash ...
4) Your website info is wrong or misleading in places. For instance you never mention in your 'visa run' part, that in fact it's illegal for a teacher to work in Korea without a visa. And that they will be subject to fines and/or deportation if they are caught. Also, there are no visa issuance letters anymore ...
5) They're too cheap to buy ads on daves, so they post these crappy notices instead ... does anyone else find that annoying ? |

Recruiters are not, nor are they ever meant to be, in the teacher's corner. That is not their job. |

Is the Alien Registration Card the same thing as an ARC card? I keep reading about it but don't know what it is. Also, even with my E-2 visa, I'm required to register with immigration once I arrive? So the steps are: 1) Get the E-2 visa; 2) Fly to Korea; and 3) Once in Korea, register with the local immigration office. Correct? |

While the notices are informative for the unaware if the person who reperesent Park English is just trying to get business and all the other conditions you mention are true than it would be spam and the account should be banned.... |
