I have a voltage converter to change my canadian voltage items to korean voltage. I also brought a power bar from Canada so that we can buy only one transformer and plug the power bar in that and then plug our four canadian plugs in that. We have only one socket in the room and we want two laptops, a curling iron and an mp3 charger in that room.
My question is...... Is it safe to plug the power bar into the transformer and then have four things plugged into that (including two laptops). I am aware that plug changers will suffice for the laptops, but we don't have enough sockets in that room. Will our 100watt transformer be able to handle all that power?
Thanks,

Well, one, buy a Korean power bar and plug your laptops into that. Two, I doubt the mp3 player draws much power, and it might even have a universal power supply. Check it and see. Three, the iron probably draws the most power. The only thing I could suggest is to look at your converter and see if it has any ratings or other numbers.

And in answer to your question, I don't really think a 100 watt transformer would do the job (safely.)

to be on the safe side when you are using the curling iron unplug everything else the laptops can just run on their batteries for the ten mins or so that you are using it.

the thing is your laptops will probably be ok with the 220v check the little box on the power cord (if you already have i am sorry, but i know a couple of Americans that didn't and just assumed).
