It's time for all the teachers to trowel on some extra make up today because it's time for year book photos.

Anyone else having their photo taken for their school yearbook this week?

Any funny yearbook photo stories?

At my school they have everyone's photos on file, as they do in the shop that makes the graduation albums, so they just keep using the old ones. Some of the teachers' photos must be 20 years old and from our album you'd think our teaching staff was 10-15 years younger than it really is.

They also photoshop the photos to such a ridiculous extent that I look about 19 years old and, were I not at a girls school, could probably pass as an exchange student, and I can't recognise half my students without all the acne.

naive fool that i am, i smiled in my photo. and in the group photo of all the teachers. oops. (this happened about a month ago) and i look ridiculously pale compared to all the Korean teachers. i also forgot about the photos (i was dressed nicely, thank God), so i put on the only make-up i brought with me-- lipstick that i now think is a shade too dark.

yes, i'm the vampire in the second row.

Ha ha. I only found out today about ours, so I went home at lunch to powder my nose. I am a pale person too.
Well, it'll be interesting to see how they turn out!

Someone mentioned on Daves some months ago that he or she was the only person smiling in their picture. I remembered that last Tuesday and put on my sternest face. The staff said, "good job!"

In a moment of madness, I once put my fingers up in horn style behind a principal's head. Of course, the following day, I woke up in a cold sweat, regretting what I had done. I managed to intercept the initial prints as soon as they were collected by a member of staff, and I drew some 'extra hair' on the negatives with a special art pen. The negatives got printed into pictures which were distributed to all the students. One picture got framed and mounted n the school wall. It took about two months before I saw the principal holding a magnifying glass up to the picture on the wall. But...time went by and no one said anything to me at all about it.
