Red Cross Supplies Tainted Blood
The Korean National Red Cross (KNRC) has asked some 400 women to refrain from getting pregnant, a far cry from the government's campaign to raise the birth rate. It recently sent letters to women who received blood transfusions through the organization, saying that some of the donated blood was infected with Acitretin, which can cause birth defects.
