What the topic says. What is the meaning/purpose behind you using the avatar you have right now?
Mine - The matrix screen entices those to read between the lines in order to find the truth. You have to really know what you are looking for in order to find it. Therefore, if you want to know me, you must look hard and deep to find me; not just what the surface represents. |

Basically, is your name Red Rackham? |

Himeji Castle. One of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I think it is also called the White Heron Castle. |

Uh...OK. When I think of deep, though-provoking entries that can be read at many levels, you're the first name that pops up.
Keith Haring- Pop artist- thought it looked alright. |

Contrary to popular belief, mine is not a picture of me, but is actually a well known photograph of Thomas Bangalter with his TB-303117 (he's the founding member of Daft Punk). Why do I use this avatar? Well, I've made electronic music for years now, and love house music, and I thought this picture was kind of funny as it shows the old way to make music... with the old 303 equipment. Look at those headphones, how could anyone even use those? So the picture kind of represents me, my musical taste, and what I do in my spare time... while retaining slight retroness and the birth of house music... tweaking around with making electronic music is what I'm probably doing when you're reading my posts anyhow...

Victor Choi.

Viktor Robertovich Tsoi (Russian: Виктор Робертович Цой) was a famous Russian rock artist and leader of the rock group Kino. Tsoi was born to a Korean father and Russian mother on June 21, 1962 in Leningrad, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia). His Korean family name is usually transcribed in English as Choi or Choe. He died in a car accident on August 15, 1990. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of Russian rock and has a huge following in the countries of the former Soviet Union even today, as of 2006.
Few bands in the history of Russian music have been more popular or have had more impact on their genre than the rock band Kino. Any discussion of Kino must inevitably begin and end with the creator, writer and lead singer of the band, a man who was once called "the last hero" of Russian rock and "a legend". The band was born when he was, lived when he did, and died with him in a tragic accident. The life of Victor Tsoi is the life of Kino.

Some people complained too much about the reindeer, so I took him down . Mine says hear no evil, see no evil, say no evil. I put it up after a particularly nasty fight with another poster. |

I've changed mine to my favorite actor or as I have always maintained my first husband. Although I don't think he knows we're married just yet. I'm happy to hear his affair with Natalie Portman ended which means we can get back to our happy little married life
Seriously though he is one of my favorite actors and he has quite a few films being released this year. The big one being Babel. He's in The King and The Science of Sleep also being released in a few months. His big role of course were Y Tu Mama Tambien, Amores Perros and Diarios de motocicleta. My lushious Gael!

I'm from Kansas, so it seemed fitting. And I wasn't about to use something from Wizard of Oz. Damn that movie for forever establishing itself as THE representation of Kansas.
Plus pulp fiction novel covers are cool. |
