As it seems that to get a good job in Korea, you need to be in Korea, I'm thinking of accepting an average job just to be in Korea, and then look for better jobs when I'm there.
But how easy is it to switch between jobs in Korea? Does it affect your visa if you resign and take another job? |

Your visa is tied to your employer. If you resign and payback your employer what you owe them (flight) and have a decent employer you will then get a letter of release, which allows you to get another job. With no letter of release (which is common among bad employers, and would be certain if you cheated them out of airfare) you cannot get a new visa with for a new job which means you cannot work legally which means you only have disreputable employers at your disposal which means that you are right back where you started.
If you want to come to Korea to look for a job just buy a ticket, but it is possible get good jobs from away if you do your homework. |
