| Where do you believe you can get the best cheeseburger in Itaewan? I have tried McDonalds, Burger king, Geckos and Seoul Pub. Currently, I find Seoul Pub to be the big winner. |

| Geckos for me. Nashville very good but overall (better chips, fries to you American types) Geckos gets the nod. |

Nashville burgers are not what they used to be 8 years ago. They're still good, but now their just average as far as I am concerned.
I heard there was some new restaurant in Itaewon with some kick-ass burgers but I can't remember the name. |

I do not know the current costs for beef in Korea, however, there is (was) a HUGE difference in cost between Korean beef and USDA beef. The latter was, oddly enough, MUCH cheaper.
I remember that HanHwa Mart used to sell next to nil amounts of USDA meats, until I started to buy from them. Koreans would see me buying this meat and ask me about it...I gave them (the customers and butchers) a slew of recipes for beef. Soon after I started to get loads of beef for free (a kickback from the owner in appreciation from the boom of USDA purchases at his store).
Sa-weet!....I miss the Korean reward system.

Someone shops at all the wrong places. I get 1.5 kg (3 lbs.) for 16,000 won at Costco. Pack 'em well, make 'em nice and big, and cook 'em slowly on the skillet, and you've got yourself heaven in a bun. |

OK where and when? I can go to Itaewan on Friday. If the possibility of the best hamburger in Itaewan is the eventual possibility of having some beers with you, then I am all for it.
Up to now I am convinced that Seoul Pub has the best burger |
