Hello,

I have just been offered a job in S. Korea (my first time), I am from the U.S. but I am currently living in a medium sized city in France (long story). The woman that hired me said I must send her the contract and all documents etc. by FedEx ONLY. She has stressed this many times. So, I just get around to checking today and the only FedExes in France are in Paris--a $120 USD train ride away. Should I pay for this? Should I insist she pay for it? Should I (can I) UPS the documents to the FedEx office? Should I just look for another job?

please break off a piece of your great wisdom and advise...

Thank you!

I really think that she's thinking more about speed than about company. Any company that will get the documents there fast should be ok. Do you have a DHL? UPS should be ok.

Explain to her that FedEx is impossible but that UPS is an option. If she is unwilling to bend on this personal rule, then I can't see that working for her will be an enjoyable experience.
