I have big enough heart to take criticism from anybody.
Sure there is many reason to complain, Korea is not a developed country yet, they are still developing. You are not in Kansas, Korea need to go a long way.

Sure money is not everything, still Korea pay ESL teachers much better than some another Asian countries. Accept what is in korea and try to live with that. Don't compare Korea with well developed countries, we are not there yet.

I read some another ESL forum of another Asian countries and I didn't see the same level of complain that guys do here, that countries only pay $ 600 - $ 800 a month to their ESL teachers.
If you can't handle what is in Korea, try another countries,
simple as that is....

Honestly after I read this forum, my opinion about ESL teachers in Korea are much better. Many come to Korea soon after graduate Uni and they want to pay back their student loan, that's wonderful, I didn't know that until I read this forum. This forum helped me to understand ESL teacher in Korea, yes it really did.

Have a nice day !

Little Miss Seoul has some good insight. Yes, people do ***** here in spite of the fact that wages are comparatively higher than those paid in other Asian countries. Actaully, though, that is the only point. If Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, or any other friendly, sunny place paid what Korea pays, Korea wouldn't be able to attract any teachers at all. Don't get me wrong; I'm pro-Korea. It's just that most people I know are only here for the money. Period. And they aren't ashamed to admit it. Sad, really, that Korea can't attract or keep people on its own merits.

Mod Edit:Edited for language.

Yep. Billybrobby gets the credit for recognizing that everything you posted started with "Well, as a Korean woman..." and I looked up your photo. I liked the part where you said we were "victiming" you though.
