[Dude Love]

-I've been in Korea for years and this is one of the weirdest things to happen to me yet. I'm riding the subway after Church and this young Korean man comes up to me and asks me my name out of the blue. I know right away he either wants free English practice or for me to go to his Church. I ask him why he wants to know my name and he says he just wants to know me. Maybe I was a bit rude but I said flat out "I don't want to waste your time and I don't want to go to your Church." He asks me why not and I tell him I'm happy with the Church I go to. He tells me he's a pastor and wants to show me a good Church and I ask him to please leave me alone. He sarcastically asks if I'm busy and I say I am.
He hands me a pad and pen and tells me to write my name and phone number down. I ask him to please go away again and he keeps shoving it in my face. I tell him that if I write anything on it I'm just going to lie. He asks why I would do that and I say it's because I want him to go away. He withdraws his pad and pen and swears under his breath in Korean. I say "You're a pastor and you're swearing at me. Good job." He looks super angry and asks why I'm being rude. I told him I'm not being rude, I asked him to go away nicely already several times. Then I said that since he's a Christian he's going to forgive my rudeness and pray for me. Now he looks really angry. I remind him that I told him I didn't want to waste his time and I ask him why he thinks being annoying will make me change my mind. He keeps looking really P.O.ed.
He asks my name again and I tell him "None of your business what my name is." He then asks where I'm going and I say "None of your business where I'm going." He couldn't look angrier and I wonder if he's playing with a full deck.
After a few minutes of this nonsense he finally walks away, coincidentally where I was about to get off anyway. When he's a few feet away with his back to me I dart off the subway and I walk past him on the platform. I hear him yell "Hey!" but I don't turn around to look. Then he yells "F*ck you!" and I still don't turn around. The subway doors are opening and closing and I wonder if it's because he's blocking them. I want to turn around to look to see if he's following me but I don't want to acknowledge him. Again I hear "Hey!" and I keep on ignoring. Finally the subway left with him on it.
I tell a few friends this story and that I think the guy's mental but my friend says he's just saving face. What do y'all think?
BTW, I love Jesus and I think it's great that people don't apologize for their religion and want to share it with others. I just think certain Evangelicals have the wrong approach.

I wouldn't call that Christianity in motion. That guy's actions weren't Christ-like. Christians in motion, yes, but not Christianity.

I think you did fine with it.

I've had similar situations (minus the swearing) and have managed to make it so they understand that not everone is an easy mark.

I wonder some times if Christinaity caught on so fast in Korea because so many Koreans realized the tenets of the religion make it butt easy to rip people off.
