clearly on the endangered species list I'll be sorry to see them go. As much as they tend to be almost exclusively staffed by knobends, spending a sunday afternoon flicking through the racks is the very height of relaxation... |

I am not really sure about that.
It might become a niche market in comparison to the online market.
Some music lovers need the hardware to put on a rack. |

Hope so but the rate of them closing seems to have really accelerated
i agree about having the hardware on the rack
i mean theres nothing like getting shitfaced and pulling out cds or vinyl all over the place either at home or at a mates |

I like free.
I wish I'd discovered free music a few years earlier because I would've saved literally thousands on rampant CD-buying.
Most of the artists I listen to are rich enough anyway and the ones who aren't.....sorry guys, me saving myself a few quid is more important to me because I'm a selfish bastid!
Some people say "I download the songs first and then buy the CD if I really like it". Yeah right, gimme a break! I download, and if I like, I keep, and if I don't like, I delete.
It's a shame for artists out there whose music gives me so much pleasure that don't make a whole ton of cash, and make a few bucks less because of me, but, well, I'm alright Jack...... |

Me too. I download the hell out of music, movies, files, porn, and whatever else is available at the standard free rate. |

The rpoblem with digital products is that their life expectancy is far lower then a piece of paper. |

The sound is often better on the official releases than on MP3 or pirates, so if I really like the album, I really do go out and buy it. |

i don't get how stores here like purple don't let you listen to the cds - they would shift a lot more of them if they did |

In Korea we don't have many options, so I'm all about pirating. |

Ride the download train until it comes to a screeching, crashing halt. Then we have to go back underground. |

I love the idea of downloading paid MP3s. But there are probs.
I've been nagging beatport.com to accept my credit card for weeks, but they're still not going for it since my Canadian card is on a Korean server or some crap. I was like "come on, let me give you my money" and they say no.
Then there's Itunes. I have to burn everything I buy on CD, then I have to reformat it to MP3 so I can play it in Ableton. How annoying is that!!?
I don't mind paying for MP3s whatsoever. But I'd download free/illegally in an instant if I could find the trax I was looking for just cuz it's less stupid hassles! |

I download tv shows and movies-and the occasional game or app-with shameless abandon, but music I usually get off iTunes. Things are organized and easy to search through. A lot of times I don't know the music I want until I hear it so while I have limewire and frostwire, they're pretty much unused at this point.

'Fraid not. I found it on the message board of a porn site and since she looks a bit Korean I snagged it and sized it down a bit. It was always only a headshot, there was no double-breasted-ness that continued further down.
