(or at least a close proximity)

I haven't jammed with anyone in almost two years since I've been here! Think I'm going thru some kinda guitar withdrawal...

Anyway, I've been playing rhythm guitar since '97, but I still suck cuz I never have any time to practice.

I'd like to find some novice-to-intermediate (no Yngwie-types please!) players whom I can grow with as musicians.

I'll play just about anything from heavy sh_t, funky sh_t to poppy sh_t... ANYTHING--I JUST WANNA JAM, release some stress on the weekends after having taught English for 50 hours a week!

If you are interested, please reply or drop me a PM. Thanks!

(I'm a gyopo, BTW, if that matters)

Uhh... thanks, I think. You're the resident Bundang rep, right? Read a lot of your posts.

Yes but he's hardly cultured.

The talent I knew of in Poontang left around the time I did, so I have no idea what's going on jam-wise down there.

Says you. I painted this self portrait the other day:

(as you can see I've been working out. And getting handsomer.)

A good way to meet musicians is to head to Dublin's bar, in Seohyeon. They have an open-mic night once a week, and the last time I was there (summer) there were a few guitarists and singers, and lots of people in the audience. Anyway, they have a house guitar, and you could just swing by and sit in for a few songs . . . if that's your thing.

Open-mic night was on Wednesdays, right? What time? Anyone?

edit: Dublin's is at Samsung Plaza. It's on the side without the Krispy Kreme.

^Thanks. I know about Dublin's, but I can't go out on Wednesday nights, so that's why I've resorted to posting.

mwaaaaah...Smee, you beat me to it. Very Happy

I don't know what time everything starts at the Dub but we're usually there late and the music is still going....

...Zyz, the talent is still pretty good here...there is a handful of people who play and sing who participate. Smile
