Utterly ridiculous. First time I've heard of someone being fired for doing their job.

I get the feeling that the people who complained about his use of 'jelly belly' in the memo have their sights on his job, or have someone in mind to replace him. Either that, or those cops really love their doughnuts.

I beat you to it. You better lay off the doughnuts too, eh Smile

I thought off-topic would get more responses.

Lay off the doughnuts? I was at the gym. I'd be more than happy to see if you can keep up with me when I workout.

It was a joke Smile But I go to the gym 5 days a week too, so I don't know about that. That wouldn't be much of a test, as some people work hard in one area that another might not. Same goes for cardio machines. Some could out bike me no prob, and many can prob out run me as I think running on the treadmill is stupid (I speed walk, saves the knees). I could probably climb a building or mountain better than many though as I do the elliptical machine and go mountain hiking a lot Smile

So, you aren't a jelly belly? Laughing

I'm more into weight training. Been doing it for years, although I've only been lifting regularly for 3 months now (fatherhood got in the way for a couple of years). I really enjoy it, so I've gotten pretty strong (now, I'm doing sets of 160kg on the bench, 500kg on the leg press, etc).

Oh, since you're into hiking...try one legged squats, with or without dumbells. I guarantee you'll feel the burn.

I do both, and just a little (very little) jelly belly, but am extremely fit (went on vacation and was constantly told to slow down Wink ). But I have been weight lifting for awhile now, and am pretty happy with my structure, so the past 4 months I have only been doing high reps, average weight for tone.

I know I'm feeding the troll, but here goes...

I've ranked in the 99th percentile on several IQ tests, so I think I've got that covered.

He was talking to me. I have proved he is a deatbeat parent and his best response is that. But I won't feed him, done enough of that already.
