One for Big bird & Ddeubel!

This Palestinian woman was set alight by her compatriots. her life was saved by an expert team of Israeli doctors. Weeks later she returned to the same hospital as a suicide bomber to show her gratitude.

The point being what Junior? That we shouldn't be outraged when Palestinian women and children are killed by their illegal occupiers because some Palestinians kill others? Show me a society that does not have some citizens killing their compatriots.

Following your train of logic...

How about I hold up the example of Ted Bundy (an American serial killer who killed American women), or the many gang shootings (of Americans by Americans) in Los Angeles, as reasons why we shouldn't feel sympathy for the American victims of 911?

When your 'logic' is applied in this way...it doesn't look so clever.

Neither do westerners who make excuses and find politically correct reasons to support people who want to kill them.

Junior,

Once again, you put me in a position of being unable to reply rationally.

Irrationality can only be "entertained" by further drivel dravel. I won't partake .

Please take your simple world elsewhere or invent a grey matter machine. If I saw cause and effect the way you did, I'd be beating sticks on the ground asking for a new Mercedes.

Don't you see something wrong there?

Like you, the west is struggling to find a rational response to an irrational and uncompromising religion.

Well yu've been gradually cornered over the months into facing the fact that your "intellectual" opinion amounts to little more than surrender in the face of barbarism. Now you're just going to run from direct evidence? the last spasms of denial I suppose.

did you hear about all those bhuddist suicide bombers? christian subway bombings? Hindus flying airliners into buildings?

I'm dissapointed ddeubel. At first I saw rationality in you, now I see somoene pitifully delusional who can't face reality.

I believe I saw a longer, more complete, description of this incident while watching the movie "Obsession." The movie included a pretty long interview with the girl where, after her arrest, she describes the "what", "how" and "why". After watching her interview I came away shaking my head in disgust at how this girl was manipulated and practically brainwashed by those she trusted the most - and I'm not talking about the Israeli physicians.

From what I remember, because of her burns she had little or no prospects of living a happy/normal life (marriage, children, etc., etc.). This fact was used by some b*stards to manipulate/brainwash her into thinking that if she committed suicide "in the service of allah" she would have it better in the afterlife.

Is she responsible for her actions? Of course. However, the real criminals/animals/b*stards are the ones that manipulated/brainwashed this already injured/vulnerable girl into thinking her only escape from her physical and mental torment was to murder, maim and destroy the innocent.

(I think the movie "Obsession" is available on Google video.)

Take care.

I don't know. I've been to Palestine, no one tried to kill me. You'd figure if there was this blind irrational hatred of the west by the bloodthirsty arabs, they would have killed me Rolling Eyes

Yeah I ignored that comment by Junior - because it was absurd. I hadn't realised up until now that Palestinians were trying to kill me. I've known several Palestinians, and have even had a coffee alone with a couple of them at my flat, but they weren't very successful at taking me out as when they left, I was just as alive as before they arrived.

I spent 4 months in Israel, Egypt and Palestine. I had a beard too. Was yours one of those arab protection shields as well?
