I did a search for the plaec to buy used cell phones in taegu, but couldn't find the thread....i read it somewhere here before....i think.
Im going tomorrow morning.
can anybody point me in the right direction? I think it's near taegu station, but not sure...

Make sure you go with Korean speaking person or you'll get ripped off big time.
Go to any of phone shops and they usually have used phone for sale.
If you're looking for phone without special gadgetts but just to make calls, don't pay over 100K. |

| Yes, I will have a Korean friend with me. I was told once (or read) that there was a small cell phone district in taegu somewhere near Taegu station.....but exactly where, I forget.... |

There are a lot of used cell phone stores clustered around the Bukbu bus terminal.
As another poster just said, be careful, there are a lot of rip-off artists. Get some advice before buying.
But, don't buy a new phone. They depreciate too quickly. |
