Anyone live in Anyang? I'm looking at a contract there and wanted to hear about the area. What's fun what sucks etc...
Looks like it's a lurch to get to the main city - how much of my life is going to pass on the subway?

Anyang is a little dirty. There is a Starbucks. There are a couple nice big theaters. The subway/Korea rail station has a big department store attached. It's about 30 minutes/45 minutes to Gangnam. You can also shoot up to the Gasan Digital Complex shopping outlet area. That's okay. There are a lot of non-ESL foreign workers about, factory workers.
There's a new indoor water park. A tiny bit expensive but not very busy on the weekends. Waterland. |
