Sorry, couldn't find help in English.

Here's a list of movies now showing (in Korean). You can look at the pictures to see what movie it is, or if you can sound out Korean you can figure out the titles.

edit: if you click on the poster you can see the website, which will usually have the name in the url.

What's with this butt-ugly chick in all these movies, given how image-conscious Koreans are--she's just hard to look at.

None.

Not when I was there a couple of weekends ago.

All hangook. There goes the theory that lesser quotas on imported movies would decimate the local film industry.

Does anyone know where "The Departed" is playing? Leonardo Di Caprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson directed by Scorcese... I really want to see this movie!

Since the US pushed for more access to american movies into korea....less american movies are in theatres. Supposedly korea increased the number of days american movies can be shown. Question

'The Departed' looks good, but I don't think it's showing yet. 'The Prestige' is on, and looks like it's worth a look...

I ended up going to see The Guardian. It was pretty good. A little formulaic, but I like seeing Ashton Kutcher trying to play a serious role. The other English movie playing was the one with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale where they are magicicans or something. Don't know the name.

Does any one know of any online listings in English?

On the streets of Itaewon for 5000 won. Wink I got it there a few weeks ago and the pirated copy was of excellent quality on my DVD player, I couldn't tell the diff.

Good film, reminded me a lot of Running Scared (2006): FEELS like an original film but afterwards you realize it's the same old-same old told in a funky fresh style. Which is okay. But which makes it quickly a forgettable experience. Good for a light popcorn munching.

Shouldn't this mean there is a good torrent version out as well? As these guys tend to DL off the net as well, and just burn them.

Odd, thats the second movie about Magicians to come out in the last few months. The Illusionist was pretty good. Done in quite a fairy story style.

Chicoloco, that Moko on the guy you have for an avatar is amazing, do you have any background to the photo?
