The other teachers just got excited about some food that was given to the office.
The brought me a big pile of what looked like green squidgy squashy rice cakes covered in light brown something.
With great excitement they watched as I popped one into my mouth and all I can say it tasted like grass. Only way to describe it.
Just been told it's made from wormwood, mugwort and rice.
I snuck the pile onto another teachers desk without looking. |

I have a half eaten one hidden on my desk.
It's got bloody blades of grass coming out of it.
Last time I checked I wasn't a ruminant |

Those are traditional songpyeon - usually you eat them at chuseok. I don't like them much - but the ones made with honey are really yummy. |
