went here tonight. the pints of big rock traditional ale were I-FRICKIN-DENTICAL to having it back home. that's the only one i drank but they have all the BR beers on tap here.
and the bar was pretty much deserted except for me and my lady friend. it's a saturday in gangnam. i'm assuming that, while a good wholesome idea, this particular canadian-themed bar is not going to go over as well as the more low-rent one in sh*taewon we're more familiar with. |

This was already posted in another thread, Sean. I've been there two Fridays in a row and it had a sustainable enough crowd. The trad is good, and I wsa pleased by the Black Amber, but the Grasshopper didn't keep well. |

i saw the thread on the broke board. i used the "useless-as-*beep*-on-a-nun" search function to see if it'd already been posted here.
i dunno. it was dead as hell. i urge everyone to go there.
and my name isn't sean, it's khristos burbank. |

I went there a second time two days ago and there were a few more people than before, maybe about a third of them (I assume) Canadian.
Maybe the next Dave's get-together should be there too. |

No pale ale? That would have been sweet. |

they serve the big rock warthog pale ale. if you don't like that, the traditional ale is a very light-bodied and flavorful beer. |

If there is another Dave's get-together I nominate this place and I vow to come. Friday nights are best. |

Has anybody been to this pub recently?
I have no doubt that the beer is excellent, but how about the food? |
