Does anyone know where I can get a GOOD QUALITY supportive knee brace in the Jamsil area?
I don't want one of those ones you can get at the discount store. I mean good quality. I know they are probably pricey, but I don't want to get something inadequate.
Any tips?
Thanks! |

I used high quality knee supports for years (neoprene, petella support, etc). One day I didn't have my knee brace and bought a 4 inch wide elactic strap from the drug store (about 3 feet long). I wraped in on and, for me, it was better than the best neoprene knee support. You can wrap it tight or loose, high or low, anyway you need. Anyway, may not be for everyone, but I do like those elastic wraps. |

I brought mine in Taiwan. The miniscule braces they sell here as XL are crap. If you do find a good one let us know. |

Not quite sure about 'knee braces' exactly, but if you can pop down a few stations to Gangnam, at exit 8, you have the Kukkiwon. Around the Kukkiwon are some taekwondo sports article shops which have lots of brand name knee support stuff. Alternatively, I sometimes see knee support type things being sold by subway salesman - like 4 for 1000 won. |

Not that I was really looking at them much (was busy looking elsewhere), but I couldn't help but notice this young lady wearing knee braces (please excuse the thread derailment) |

I saw just the place for high quality knee braces. It is at the Dongdaemon Station Exit 10 (Not Dongdaemon Stadium). Go out exit 10 and there are medical supply / fitness stores on the left and right side of where you come out. They have fitness stuff like yoga mats, hand weights. And they have medical supply like crutches and braces. And they have great knee braces. The staff in the stores were really friendly too. I was looking for an aerobic step bench and they pointed me in the right direction (back to Dongdaemon stadium). Anyway, Dongdaemon, Exit 10 is the place!
