I am off for my visa run soon.
Anyone have some advice for buying electronics in Fuk.
Are there any specific markets for electronics, like Yongsan in Seoul?
Looking for Sony products, cameras and DVD's.
Thanks in advance for your help. |

They have branches of BicCamera and YodobashiCamera in Fuku-o which are mega-sized department stores full of electronics. However, it's hard to find English speaking staff in there. It's best if you can find a local to help translate for you. Also, don't expect any big discounts for local products like Sony, though, unless you happen to coincide your visit with a special sale period. Also think about the fact that many electronic products on sale in Japan don't come with an English lang user interface or English manual. Check if there is perhaps an online manual in English for the product you want to buy first. |
