Korea has the same meds as the West. Meds are not always marketed under the same trade name, however. For example, you're referring to Chlordiazepoxide by one of it trade names of Librax, whereas a more popular trade name of that same drug, Librium, might be more common to the ears of Korean doctors.
When talking to Korean doctors about med subscriptions, its best to tell them the actual drug name and/or the most popular trade name of that drug, rather than the trade name that you use. In this case, tell your doctor that you need a prescription for Chlordiazepoxide (클로르디아제폭시드) or Librium (리브리엄).
Talk to your employer or a Korean friend to take you to a local doctor to get the prescription. |
