you hear a Korean say that people only teach English in Korea because they can't get a job in their own countries, should realize that the job market sucks everywhere. I have met many Koreans who were not working in their field of study. I worked with two Korean teachers with majors in hotel/restaurant management. Neither could find jobs in their fields. I met another Korean guy who majored in hotel/restaurant management and he was parking cars at a bar in Gangnam. It's really funny how most Korean teachers in the hagwons did NOT major in education.
