For the third year in a row (and 7th time in the last 10 years) Canada will play Russia in the gold medal game at the WJHC.
Today's shootout win over the US was probably the most exciting game I've watched in years. |

Anyone have any better luck watching it on RDS then my friends and I did?
I felt like i was listening to the radio with still shots.
Hope i can watch the gold medal game live. |

Because we don't like the dreadfully boring game of soccer. Perhaps it has something to do with the ice and snow that covers the land 4-5 months a winter, non? |

1) A little known fact that Canadians are born with skates on their feet; not good for the moms, that's fer sure.

Sorry I made a mistake of asking if they were good at hockey, should be ice hockey. Good at staying on the ice.
They're not too bad at hockey itself, world rank number 16 below Egypt. |

Field hockey is a woman's game. Hockey is Ice hockey, no need for the word ICE. Field hockey is for women. |

TSN is showing the games live on the internet for those in Canada. Those outside of Canada can watch it on the TSN site later (after the game has finished).
But WATCH OUT! You have to go to the TSN website, which has the winner in big BOLD letters to click the link to watch the game. See if you can't block most of the screen with your hand and try to find the 'Broadband' link near the top of the page without spoiling it for yourself. |

The answer is pretty obvious. It's the most popular sport in Canada; therefore, it attracts and/or creates some of the best athletes in that country. |
