Abbas believed he could reach a better deal with Israel, I told them, give me the captive and I will run negotiations with Israelis regarding our prisoners. They are prepared to give me more prisoners.

Secondly, ministers and parliament members will be released, and thirdly, there will be a calm that would rid us of the stupid missiles launched for no reason and with no gain, he continued

He could be dead by now and they can't give him back, except in a body bag.

That wouldn't too work well. We will trade you 1 dead Israeli prisoner for 1000 dead Palestinian prisoners. I can't see them arguing that point as a bargaining tool. If he is alive, has red cross or crescent meet him? Is he held in a good location?
