I'm in the midst of checking a job in Saejeol/Sinsa. I had a competing recruiter tell me (in a semi-negative tone) that it was far away from my intended area. I think it's in western Seoul. Am I right?

Shinsa is basically in central Seoul, south of the river and very very close to the main areas in Gangnam and Apgujeong. Basically you can't get much more central.

No, I think there's more than one place called Sinsa. I'm looking at a Seoul Subway map. It's on line 6 between Eungam and Jeungsan. 6 stops away from where line 2 and 6 cross in what appears to be the western side of the city. It's supposed to be near Shinchon & Hongdae. It's Saejeol/Sinsa. I'm just worried that the subway map is geographically distorted and I'm outside the city.

Seven stops from Hongdae isn't within your neighborhood walking distance, but it's not what I'd call far away.

Sounds nice. What's the area like? I might be moving next summer and need to figure out what part of the city to move, and I had my eye on that area. Is key money high there?
