Is Canadian Connection a decent recruiting agency (as far as recruiters go)? I tried the search function but I only have 4 months before I need to leave. |

Yeah, they're good. They place teachers in public schools in Jeollanam-do. (Not sure if they do anything besides that.) They are organized and professional, and it helps that they are native English speakers. They'll answer all your questions and set you up with teachers already in the area. PM me for more information, if you'd like. |

Yeah. In the spring I was looking for work along the southern coast and I'd talked to the head guy there and he seemed like a decent Canuck. Unfortunately the Canadian Connections program of jobs in Jeollanamdo public schools require that teachers start from their home country. They will NOT do visa runs from Japan or a holiday destination. MUST leave a major Canadian city (maybe other English speaking country big cities too, dunno). And you have no idea about accommodations until you are hired and placed.
The pay was 2.4 with CELTA or equivalent 120-hour certificate program or master's. |

uhhh stay away if you ever expect any support if you have any problems. I'm currently with Canadian connection and have had problem and problem with my school and apartment. Most people I know with this company are doing great but I'm getting no help to better my situation. if you want some more info PM me and I'd be happy to tell you more! |
