I was glaring at two of my students who were arguing. One looks at me and says, "I not eye candy" (grade 1). I started laughing. What he was trying to say is he couldn't find his candy (see it) and thought the other kid had it  |

Well, a lot of my university freshmen like to say they're "in first grade" so maybe he is talking about uni girl eye candy.  |

Well, I have seen CHinese university students fight over candy before. The did have better English than that though
I do mean elementary though ... |
