I don't mind it as far as bland slightly chewy foods go, but I don't recommend kissing someone after they've been eating odeng.. really a strange taste I am not in a hurry to repeat

That's rather forward of you, no?

But I like saucy women, so as a reward I will tell you where I buy O-daeng:

1. There is a place near Columbia on Broadway called "M2M". Asian market, got all the essentials--except Mok Candy, the bastards.
2. Han Areum has it. But surely you know that...?

I hope I didn't mislead you into thinking I know a pojang macha that'll throw the stuff down for you with a bottle of cham-i-seul of an evening, because that I certainly do not know of--but I will open the first Riverside Drive PM on the island soon. Just you watch.

It's (a) the only Korean food AND (b) the only fish I absolutely hate. I love fish and most K-food, but Odeng is so dreadful!!! Shocked

It tastes like fishy, soggy cardboard to me.

In all honesty, I'm less repulsed by the thought of eating feces or vomit.

I can take or leave the odeang, but i can't get enough of the odeang guk. I buy the odeang just so i can grab a cup or two of that steaming broth.

I like Ohwdehngh. I like dry Owddeng more than the boiled Oaedehngh, but if I am hungry, and Oohwdhehnghh will do.
