hi,

trying to decide weather to live in seoul or busan. if i choose busan, what do you think the benefits/drawbacks to living there would be?

can anyone describe the neighborhoods of busan...the best places to live and teach?

is the air quality really that much better than seoul?

what is the international community like there?

any info on busan would help.
thanks

elana

Check pusanweb.com, especially the Busan Forum for more info.

Seoul is too big, dirty, and cold for me. I like Busan because its warmer, a bit cleaner, on the water, etc. If you want to be near a lot of foreigners, I've never seen a higher concentration than in haeundae New Town. Let me know if you have any specific questins.

Not as much is available here as in Seoul. But most thing can be found here without too much problem. I'm from a smalltown so I kind o like the small foreign community. Its not too small, but you know all teh waygooks sitting outside the local family mart. I like that. (reminds me of the theme song from Cheers)

That is impossible to answer as it is too vague!

Depends what you like and what you need in an area.....

check out pusanweb.

Depends on which areas...some are just as polluted, others not as much.

Smaller than Seoul but pretty cool overal. Again it depends on what your activities will be....a bar scene is a bar scene afterall...
