hey, have been working at a hogwan for the past month and i now have a dilema. when initially offered the post I was told that there would be no split shifts, this however is not the case and it ends up that I now work overtime too! to add to this i was told i would be payed at an overtime rate for these extra hours and again i have not been. Im now lookin at finding another job or doing something else completely diferent. Now, i have not yet put pen to paper on my contract so I hope that this will not cause too much hassle, I got out here under my own steam and have not yet done the visa run so they have had a months work and not provided any financial outlay, as yet, so i feel that explaining that im going to leave should not be a problem, just wanted any advice anyone could give or any possible ramification if the boss gets pi##ed!
Thanx.. |

If you don't have your visa yet, you are free to leave. No letter of release and no notice necessary.
You should also be aware that you have been working illegally for the past month. |

Pack your bags now and then walk out the door about 10 minutes after you get paid.
Let your boss know that he is a liar on your way out the door. |
