I'm looking to go to S. Korea (undecided on specific destination) in mid-late February. From what I gather, this is also the start of the public school semester. I have a little bit of teaching experience, but not a full year's worth. Is it possible for me to get a job teaching at a public school? What is the best way to get these jobs? Also, what's important to put in the cover letter? I appreciate any advice! |

Try EPIK or GEPIK. You should be fine. Be prepared though for 30-40 unruly students. The salary with those programs isn't great though. |

Yes, it is possible.
Pick a couple of recruiters and BE FIRM that you are ONLY willing to accept a public school position (not an afterschool or hakwon gig).
Active recruiting for public positions should start in January. The new school year starts the 1st week in March.
What you put in the cover letter depends on what level you want to teach. |
