Has anyone heard of Modern English Studio? I saw their advert for teachers but it seems too good to be true. The salary isn't too great but the perks like free Asian tour(s), $6000 USD end of year contract bonus, winter holiday airticket paid etc.... WOW, what's the catch?

They definitely caught my attention too when I was browsing monster.com and saw their listing.

I saw someone on another forum who said he was being recruited by them. He was told they're a new school opening in September. I'm a little skeptical bc if they're a new school, why do they already have testimonials on their web site? Or maybe I'm just making a big deal out of nothing...

Has anyone else heard anything about this school?

Just remember, when it sounds too good to be true, it usually is...

Likely scenario is it is a bad school and they are desperate for teachers so are promising the moon and starts plus a tub of ice cream just to get people in...

When you get there they will deny that such conditions even exist and you will be regretting your decision....

Of course, I could be wrong but i have my doubts. Talk to the teachers that are there now(and make sure you can talk to them away from their workplace where their boss cannot influence them) and previous teachers....if they refuse to give you any emails than alarm bells should be ringing
