|
|
I have been meaning to post this post for some time.
I really want to get some feedback from other native English speaking "Westerners" (caucasians, blacks...etc.) about their city. I will restrict my criteria to only the major cities of Korea and I will run the poll for one week.
Please only select the city you live in!
Also, only single/dating/bf/gf people between the ages of 21-30 (sorry!) ok 31 too! No married couples!.
Also, please note I have excluded Incheon from the list as it is too close to Seoul and many who live there go out in Seoul at least some of the time. I have also excluded Suwon.
Also, please let me know if you think Ulsan is a satellite of Busan for you as a Waygook for the same reason.
The question is simple:
Are you satisfied with social life (recreation, partying, fun, meeting other people etc.) in your city.
For each option there is a YES option and a NO option.
Also, please don't ask me to define 'satisfied'. I just want some feedback on what does it/doesn't do it for YOU if you live in a metropolitan city. |

sorry I couldn't fit all of the options on one page.
And thankyou for your time. Please give me as much feedback as you can!

of course we do. We just sit around on the porch drinking root beer and complaining about how the younger generation has it so easy these days. You know when I first came to Korea I had to swim across the Ocean (both ways!), make my own kimchee, and socializing well the closest we came to that was socialism. The ungrateful brats in the current generation don't know how easy they've got it.
pass me a rootbeer. |

Well when I was young we lived in a cardboard box and had to walk a hundred miles to school bare foot in the snow each day... |

You didn't need to exclude the over 30s from your poll - didn't you know we can't vote anyway because we're all still trying to get to grips with this newfangled interwebnet whatchumacallit.
And speak up Sonny, I can't hear you. |

That's what I do.
Except my office-tel doesn't have a porch, so I go hang out in front of the McDonalds and do it. |

Ohhhh we used to DREAM of roots! Woulda' been luxury to us. We used to live in an old water tank on a rubbish tip. We got woken up every morning by having a load of rotting fish dumped all over us! This was our meal for the day! And you have the nerve to come here and tell me about your roots!? Hmph. |

I wonder how different people are interpreting bf/gf? There are two very distinct possibilities... |
