|
|
Hi All
I'm thinking of doing a winter camp in Seoul...I have never done these before, though I have been in Korea for 3 years.
So, I have to questions to put out there...
What good and bad things should I look for when signing up?
Does anyone have any reliable contacts for a reliable winter camp?
Thanks for your feed back! Enjoy the snow.... |

For any camp, I'd be wary about contract terms which vaguely suggest a mass of extra-curricular duties but with no specifics about what exactly these will entail. These can add significant overtime and insomnia to your life at the camp and can make the pay workout at sweatshop levels.
Also try to find teachers who have previously worked at a camp. Can they recommend it? |

Try Global Pion, a recruiter. I know somebody who did a camp with them; he said they were organised. Many of these camps aren't, apparently. |
