I'm after some advice, We're planning a 9 day break to India next Feb(short I know but it's all the time I can get off). We intend to spent 2 or 3 days in Agra to see the Taj Mahal and then a beach, so we need some advice about good beaches to spent our remaining days. The crux is the my girlfriend is not a strong or fully confident swimmer, so we are after somewhere were the currents are not too strong. I've been told that Goa is beauitful but the sea is no good for just frolicking in the shallows. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, can't help with any tips about India, sorry.
I'm not being facetious, but have you thought about swimming lessons/practice for your girlfriend in the 2+ months between now and Feb. Even just regular excursions to a pool (even though it's nothing like an ocean) should get her confidence up a bit so she doesn't feel so timid/nervous/worried/whatever around water. |

India is not the place to go if you wanna sit on a beach.
From EVERYTHING I've ever heard.
Even Goa. |
