I am looking to adopt a doggie and I know that the US army base in Yeongsan has several right now up for adoption. I know there are other places that do it as well, but I don't want to end up with a sickly animal, or that isn't really current on it's shots.

But I need someone to take me on the base. Does anyone here know anyone stationed in Yeongsan that would be willing to take me on base to look at the dogs?

Thx!

Why does it have to be on base? By the way, it's Yongsan, not Yeongsan.

Yeah right. You never know. The OP might be some hot looking N. Korean "she" spy looking to penetrate into the US Army base to get the scoop on things. Laughing

Yes I'm female. And no I haven't picked a dog out, but I know the ones they have there are healthy.

I know that I can get on the base if I wear a low-cut shirt and stand outside, but I'm not willing to sleep with someone to get inside.

Who said anything about sleep???

BWAHAHAHAHA *SLAP*

But seriously, today's soldier would never be sexist in that way...look at all the commercials on AFN saying how wrong it is to look at a girl -- I am sure they are having an effect on the sensitive male soldier psyche.

BTW notice on those commercials it is always the male thats at fault??? like women never view men as eye candy! HAH!

Anyway, goo luck in your quest to get a pup!

Why don't you go to the USO and ask the support staff there?

Or if you still live in Busan, stop by Camp Hialeah, as they allegedly have vet services on base that might have a kennel. Not sure if that base is officially closed yet.

Osan definitely has a vet clinic and kennel, however.
