I've heard tell of pensions - condo style houses - that can be rented throughout Korea. Apparently they can work out cheap with a bunch of people, and have fully equipped kitchens, and all the rest. It's proving difficult to find out more information however! I called 1330, and they told me that I could look up a website, but it's in Korean. Is there any other way I can find out about such facilities? I'd like to see what the place is like, what it offers, what reviews it might have received. Preferably English...Korean at a push. Not sure of location yet, so any suggestions are welcome. Thanks all! |

A Korean friend arranged a condo for us in Gyeongju. We were really lucky - just three of us in a brand new wing (opened 10 days before we stayed there) of the Hyunhwa condo near Bomun lake. There was a basic kitchenette in the living area, with two bedrooms (one with queen bed, the other with 4 yo's), bathroom and separate toilet.
We went in the spring, so it wasn't peak period.. I can't remember how much it cost, but it was a good deal for the comfort and facilities. |
